I heard you went out of business. What is the deal.

Dan...thanks for the first comment post!

The new Swirll reopened on 3/31. You can still make your own wine and enjoy Swirll wine by the glass and bottle, but we have added a wine bar as well. We feature over 50 wines made in Texas.

Also, you can custom label your own wine...there is no minimum or maximum. It's perfect for gifts, weddings, events, etc.

New ownership with the same great team as before. Come check us out Dan...you will be impressed. If you aren't, let me know.

I live in Nebraska and started making my own wine last fall.
This year I have made cherry wine.
Then I made choke cherry wine. It grows wild up here.
I'M in the process of making wild aldeberry wine.
This week I will start picking wild grapes for my next batch.
Do you sell empty bottles and corks?
Send more info please.

I visited Swirll last weekend (2/6/10) with a couple friends and I must say I was delightfully impressed. Beyond the fabulous tasting Pinot Noir, Swirll was an impressive winery boasting an eclectic environment and urban-contemporary style. The ambience of this downtown winery/bistro seemed to mesh oh so well with the rich tasting wines - a unique blend of classy and contemporary...very chic.

Owner Rob and staff make your overall visit more of an experience, if anything. Surprisingly, Swirll Winery turned out to be the highlight of our entire weekend stay in DFW.

Last Friday (02/19/2010) I stopped by Swirll to see what the buzz was all about and now I know. From the wine selection and knowledgeable staff to the relaxing atmosphere, Swirll is definitely a Downtown Dallas "Must Experience".

I seriously recommend this winery. The wine selection can accommodate both the wine amateur and the wine enthusiast. The Swirll Pinot Noir and Swirll Tempranillo are both winners. Oh and for the amateur, I dare you to try the Green Apple Reisling!!!
